UCO to Host Latino College Fair, Nov. 12
Oct. 30, 2024
The University of Central Oklahoma will host the Latino College Fair from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Cantera Event Center, 1 SE 59th St., Suite E, Oklahoma City. The event is free and open to the public.
The college fair, featuring colleges and universities from throughout the state, is a one-stop shop for attendees to learn more about college admissions, financial aid, scholarships, housing and degree programs.
“We are excited to bring college admissions information directly to the community in the south metro—truly meeting students where they are,” said Jancy Scott, senior director of recruiting and admissions at UCO.
“This fair is open to everyone, and it’s a great opportunity for students and their families to explore colleges and universities from across the state, learn about the paths available to them and discover why UCO could be the perfect fit for their future.”
UCO is now accepting applications for admission for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible incoming freshmen and transfer students can automatically earn academic scholarships with the submission of a completed online application and all admissions-related documents by Feb. 1, 2025. To apply, visit uco.edu/apply.
Registration is encouraged, but not required, for the college fair. To register, visit go.uco.edu/LatinxCollegeFair.
