The University of Central Oklahoma invites prospective students and their families to experience life at Central during Central Preview, with events scheduled Oct. 10, Nov. 11, Dec. 4, Feb. 11, March 6 and April 2.

Central Preview gives prospective students an inside look at what it’s like to be a Broncho. Attendees can learn about scholarships, financial aid, admissions, housing and more while exploring campus and residence hall options. Campus tours will provide a firsthand look at classrooms, resources and student amenities.

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to connect with representatives from Central’s academic colleges through informational sessions and learn more about the programs and opportunities available at UCO.

“Central Preview is a great way for students to get to know UCO and start imagining themselves as part of our Broncho community,” said Jancy Scott, associate vice president of enrollment and recruitment at UCO.

“Students can explore our campus, learn about academic and scholarship opportunities, and meet the people who make Central such a special place. We hope they leave excited about the opportunities that await them at UCO.”

UCO is now accepting applications for the fall 2027 semester. Eligible incoming freshmen and transfer students can automatically earn academic scholarships by submitting a completed online application and all admissions-related documents by Feb. 1, 2027, for incoming freshmen, and June 1, 2027, for transfer students. To apply, visit uco.edu/apply.

About University of Central Oklahoma

The University of Central Oklahoma is a campus community in motion—leading, innovating and creating transformative learning opportunities that foster success for our students. As Oklahoma’s largest metropolitan university, we provide high-quality, nationally recognized programs that are always evolving and adapting to the needs of our students and the community. This commitment is rooted in our founding in 1890 as the state’s teacher’s college, training those who would educate the next generation of leaders and innovators. We remain dedicated to offering an accessible, affordable education, earning national accolades for social mobility, veterans’ outreach and first-generation student programs.

Guided by the motto “ubi motus est” – which translates to “where movement is” – the university continues to evolve and grow, offering 119 undergraduate and 81 graduate programs to our more than 12,000 students from our main campus in Edmond, Oklahoma, and facilities throughout the Oklahoma City metro. Our colors were the first adopted of any university in the state, and our Bronze and Blue symbolize our greatest strengths—the illumination of new ideas and the endless expanse of a clear sky above. At UCO, anything is possible.

The university is governed by the Regional University System of Oklahoma Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
