UCO to Host ‘Bronze, Blue and Housing Too’ for Admitted Students, April 30
April 22, 2026

The University of Central Oklahoma will host “Bronze, Blue and Housing Too,” an event designed to introduce admitted students to the residential on-campus housing experience, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30, at Buddy’s Lawn on the UCO campus.
Designed for students interested in or already committed to living on campus, the event provides a unique opportunity to experience university life. UCO housing staff will be on-site to provide direct support for students needing assistance with reserving a room or making final preparations for the transition to campus living.
“Visiting campus in the evening offers a unique perspective for our future residents and provides a convenient opportunity for families who may not be able to visit during the day,” said Chelsea Ratterman, marketing director for Housing and Residential Engagement at UCO.
“This event is a highlight for our staff as it allows us to showcase our residence halls as more than just an extension of the learning environment, but as a community where students find the social connections and support they need to grow.”
The event will feature several key resources and activities, including:
- Guided Residence Hall Tours: Participants can explore various living options and view showroom units for move-in inspiration.
- Application Assistance: Housing staff will be available to help students navigate the housing application process and answer housing questions.
- Social Activities on Buddy’s Lawn: Located between the Quad and West Hall, this space will host local food trucks and games, offering a chance for students to connect with future neighbors in the halls and housing staff.
Registration is required. Admitted students can secure their attendance by visiting the registration page at connect.uco.edu/register/BronchoNight.
UCO continues to accept applications for the 2026-27 academic year. Prospective students can apply online at apply.uco.edu.
