UCO Students Raise Over $32,000 for Children’s Health at 10th Annual BronchoThon Finale
April 22, 2026
University of Central Oklahoma students celebrated months of fundraising and dedication at the 10th annual BronchoThon Finale, raising $32,400.26 for the Children’s Health Foundation.
BronchoThon, UCO’s take on the national collegiate dance marathon movement, brings together students, families and the community to support children receiving care at the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. The finale serves as the ending celebration—featuring music, dancing and connecting with children and their families—to honor the countless hours nurses spend on their feet and the daily challenges children in hospitals face.
“I want to acknowledge all our community partners and the support that we have received from the student body this year. By having the privilege to work with new partners such as UCO's Hockey team and the Student Academy of Forensic Science, we have been able to reach new communities that we may not have before,” said Abby Hoover, BronchoThon executive director and a senior forensic science investigations and psychology major from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“I also would like to thank our existing partners in Greek Life, Homecoming, Cheer and Dance and the Student Programming Board for their continuous generosity and support this year. None of this would have been possible without their support. We hope to continue growing in the future."
