Greek Preview Day Spotlights UCO Fraternity and Sorority Life, April 25
April 3, 2025

Students interested in joining a fraternity or sorority at the University of Central Oklahoma can get a firsthand look at Greek life during Greek Preview Day Friday, April 25. The event begins at 10 a.m. in the Nigh University Center, Constitution Hall, with breakout sessions, campus tours, tours of chapter housing and other activities continuing until 5 p.m.
Prospective and current students, along with their families, will meet members of UCO’s 27 fraternity and sorority chapters, learn about the four governing councils and explore the benefits of joining Greek life. Attendees will also receive information on campus resources such as housing, financial aid, scholarships and more.
UCO’s four councils include the College Panhellenic Council (CPC), Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). Each council will provide a breakout session to learn about the individual organizations within the council, as well as provide information on upcoming events, how to join a chapter and membership requirements.
“Participating in Greek life can lead to lifelong friendships, open the door to new opportunities, provide academic support and instill deeper sense of community and philanthropic service. In fact, UCO students who are members of our fraternity and sorority chapters achieve GPAs on average than the general campus community,” said Taylor Bradberry, coordinator of Student Engagement - Fraternity and Sorority Life at UCO.
“Greek Preview Day is an opportunity to get all the information a student needs to begin finding their place in this supportive, transformative community.”
Parents and family members can attend a separate panel for questions regarding fraternity and sorority life at Central.
UCO’s fraternity and sorority chapters are listed below by council.
CPC sorority chapters include Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Phi Lambda and Sigma Sigma Sigma.
IFC fraternity chapters include Alpha Sigma Phi, Alpha Tau Omega, Beta Upsilon Chi, Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Nu and Sigma Tau Gamma.
MGC fraternity and sorority chapters include Omega Delta Phi, Tau Kappa Omega, Gamma Delta Pi, Kappa Delta Chi, Phi Delta Alpha, Sigma Lambda Alpha and Sigma Lambda Gamma.
NPHC fraternity and sorority chapters include Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma and Sigma Gamma Rho.
