ACM@UCO Radio Spans Genres with a Curated Listening Experience
Oct. 10, 2025

The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma (ACM@UCO) announces the launch of ACM@UCO Radio, a new radio station built around discovery, deep cuts and music with meaning curated by ACM CEO and longtime Flaming Lips manager Scott Booker.
Drawing from a personal archive of more than 45,000 records and decades of experience in the music industry, Booker has curated a listening experience that spans genres, eras and scenes—from classics and underground gems to new releases you’ve never heard but won’t forget. Listeners will hear tracks from the last five decades across all genres of music, including R&B, country, indie, jazz, rock and pop, with new releases added every week.
“This station is more representative of how most people listen to music,” Booker said.
“It’s not always the biggest hits that make the day just a bit better—it can be a song you hear for the first time. Our goal is to play songs that connect to everyone.”
ACM@UCO Radio will spotlight Oklahoma talent by including local artists in its regular rotation. Listeners can expect to hear several ACM@UCO alumni, including Kaitlin Butts, alongside other notable Oklahomans such as JJ Cale, Broncho and The Gap Band.
ACM@UCO Radio broadcasts on 90.1 FM HD3 in Edmond and Oklahoma City, and is also available online at acmucoradio.org.
